What can I gain from working with Circled Educational Consulting?
A better understanding of what is going on in your student’s school experience and a focus on making sure they are personally involved in the process. In our free, introductory consultation, we discuss areas that you would like more information about or areas that you are not sure if your student’s needs are being met. From there, we can discuss how to make you a more informed and confident advocate for them and/or sit by your side to offer support throughout the process.
Why is it called Circled Educational Consulting?
Our approach is built on a humanistic and restorative perspective that recognizes the inherit value of every person and the power of circles of support to address needs. The process of bringing groups of people together in collective purpose is central to the special education process. We believe that increased and individualized support around a struggling individual will have the greatest chance to produce positive, long-term growth. I am outside of the Chicago area, can I still work with Circled Educational Consulting?
Yes! The laws that govern IEP’s and 504’s are federal, so they apply throughout the United States. We can teleconference with you to help you prepare of your next school meeting and since many of these meetings are now held virtually, we can be at your side at each step of the process if you desire.
Is the information that I provide to Circled Educational Consulting safe?
Absolutely! Any information that you provide to us would be held on Google servers that provide protection that is constantly upgraded and encryption for all data in transit and when saved.
